Got Puppies?

If you're looking for the perfect Vizsla puppy for your family, the best place to start is with breeder referral.

Rachel Schaeffer is the KVC Breeder Referral contact.  You can reach her at kvcbreededu@gmail.com.

Finding the right breeder is just as important as finding the right puppy.  We cannot stress this enough!!  As you explore breeders, you will find that the below can be great resources:

The Vizsla Club of America's Code of Ethics for breeders.  This will help you to recognize the qualities and practices of a good breeder.  As you speak with prospective breeders, don't be afraid to ask questions!!  You can read more here:  VCA COE

Another great resource is the Vizsla Puppies page on Facebook.  Many reputable breeders in the Northeast US are on that page and can help guide you not only towards what to look for, but what to stay away from, as backyard breeders and puppy mills are in abundance in our area.

And last but not least, New Hope Vizsla Rescue Director and KVC member, Debra Evalds has provided the charts below to help guide you as you look for a breeder.  Debra can also provide a breeder advice letter that reflects her experience with breeders whose dogs come in to rescue.  You can email Debra  here.

DISCLAIMER: Any breeders named by NHVR are based on their experiences with dogs they have had as intakes to their rescue program; KVC is not responsible for this content.
